Danny and I chose a quaint apartment near the southern end of the island not far from Playa Lancheros for the first four nights of our one week vacation in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. We stayed at The New Mar y Sol Apartments July 28-August 01, 2010.

The apartment had the following ammenities:
Wi-Fi inside the room and on the beach
Remote controlled air conditioning and fan that worked well
Bottled water
Coffee Maker
Small refrigerator
Hot Plate/Microwave
Cooking utensils
Clean linens/towels
A great balcony
A hammock that could be used on the balcony or in the room

We were the only ones there the first three nights which was very nice. The only people we saw during this time were the cleaning staff and groundskeepers which were very nice and helpful. We absolutely loved our view!We had a great time at Mar Y Sol. We were able to lie on the beach and read in tranquility. We were able to siesta every day for a couple of hours.
